Siem Reap International Airport

Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3

Everybody's ready!

Cirquera de CAMELEON composed of 11 girls, Mary Ann, Marian, Faith Ira, Andrea, Juliene, Lovely Joy, Febe, Romalyn, Lalyn, Lyndie and Recheal and three staff: Maybell (Social Worker), Shaline and Tita Laurence, flew to Cambodia for a 15-days circus training. Mary Ann and Marian, the two circus teachesr, will stay for 2 months:

We left the center, excited for a new adventure out of the country. For some of us, it's the first time to take the plane and travel abroad.

We had a connecting flight from Iloilo to Manila, Manila to Siem Reap, Cambodia. We arrived in Siem Reap past 10 in the evening (11pm in the Philippines). Cool breeze welcomed us and we were quite freezing already. Mary Ann, Marian and Tita Laurence immediately applied for their visa while others were patiently waiting and taking photos.

Sothea from Phare Ponleu Selpak (PPS) welcomed us at the airport with the special exotic gift- fried insects for midnight snack! Some of us were courageous enough to taste different kind of insects like cricket, cocoon and cockroach however one got allergy on her lips! We rode a bus and we stopped along the street where we had fruit shakes despite of the cold weather.

Everybody was tired when we arrived in the hotel and we went to our respective rooms to rest.
